The heavy rains started at about 3:00 AM. Sure, they kind of ruined my day, but at least the damn rooster was quiet. The side benefit was that I got to catch up on my journal that had been surviving in point form for a couple of days. It’s surprising how powerful point form notes can be. A quick reminder is all you need to summon a flood of vivid memories. But they have their limits, and the sooner you get those memories down, the more accurate they’ll be.
