“The Philosophy of Yes”

It started out as the answer to a simple question: how would I make the most of my three brief weeks in Taiwan?

“Keep an open mind” was my friend’s advice.  And so it was that we came up with the simple “Philosophy of Yes”, a guiding philosophy that has at its core a willingness to try anything as long as it doesn’t place you or those around you in mortal danger.  As much as possible, I would try and live according to the Philosophy.

At times, the Philosophy may cause fear, embarrassment or even nausea.  However, the goal is experience and despite the potential negatives, I would leave nothing on the table.

I share my memories with all of you.
